位于三台县城郊、涪江北岸的新德镇农民,从国家863计划的子项目——四川省智能化农业专家系统工程网络中得到了实实在在的实惠:去年全镇粮食作物在大灾之年夺得丰收,总产量达8682吨,实现产值860万元,比1999年净增210吨,增加收入20万元。农民人均纯收入实现2379元,比上年增加93元,其中仅粮食作物一项人均增收17元。新德镇是一个以种养业为主的纯农业乡镇。近几年来,该镇党委、政府引导农民大力调整产业结构,先后培植了大棚蔬菜、畜禽、水产、水稻制种、中药材等五大支柱产业,成为全县有名的经济强镇之一。由于离县城近,农民思想活跃、接受新事物快,迫切需要了解现代农业的新产品、新品种和新技术。为此,镇党委、政府在县有关部门大力支持下,于1999年10月投资3万余元引进了国家863计划项目高新农业信息技术——四川省智能化农业专家系统软件。该系统相当于一本农业科技词典,即使农户无一点种植技术都可以根据输入的耕地类型、面积、肥力等有关数据,从网上获得最佳品种选择、栽培及管理技术方案,也可根据品种来选择耕地类型。农业生产中种什么、怎么种、投入多少、经济效益如何,只要坐在家中拨打一下“农业科技
