随着铀-钚混合氧化物燃料的需求量日益增加,一座年产120吨重金属的MELOX燃料制造工厂将于90年代中期投入商业运行。这将有助于满足下个世纪初以后对这类燃料的需要。
With the increasing demand for uranium-thorium mixed oxide fuels, a MELOX fuel production plant with an annual output of 120 tons of heavy metals will be put into commercial operation in the mid-1990s. This will help meet the need for this type of fuel after the beginning of the next century.
