1例由9型埃可病毒引起的脑膜炎婴儿,其脑脊液所见很象结核感染,糖明显减少而蛋白显著增多,除外婴儿的脑膜结核比较困难。病例报告 6周男患,1978年2月因呕吐、发热入某大学医院。正常妊娠,足月产,出生体重3,900g,生后无异常。4天前开始呕吐,体温达39.5℃。入院前1天其他医院检查发现有脱水、前囟饱满、颈强直。脑脊液白细胞数893/mm~3(全部淋巴细胞),蛋白387mg,糖34mg％。脑脊液和血细菌培养阴性。曾用氨苄青霉素和庆大霉素治疗。

Cerebrospinal fluid leukocyte count 893 / mm ~ 3 (all lymphocytes), protein 387mg, sugar 34mg%. Cerebrospinal fluid and blood bacterial culture negative. Have used ampicillin and gentamicin treatment.
