浙江省兰溪县(今兰溪市),位于风景绮丽的富春江上游,是近代中医教育事业的发祥地之一。由张山雷先生任教务长的兰溪中医专门学校,与丁甘仁创办的上海中医专门学校及施今墨创办的华北国医学院齐名,都是近代中医教育颇有名气的学府。张山雷先生作为杰出的中医学家和教育家,在代近中医史上享有崇高的地位。锲而不舍投身中医教育张山雷(1873-1934),原名张寿祥,字颐征,后改名寿颐,字山雷,出生在浙江嘉定一个普通商人家庭。少年张山雷天资聪颖,勤奋好学,遍读经史及诸子百家之书,19岁时考取秀才。因为母亲患有风痹病,张山雷开始阅读医书,以便护理母亲。后来,他弃儒学医,潜心钻研历代中医经典,同时拜名医俞德琈、侯春林、黄醴泉等为师。1904年,张山雷又拜
