The petrology and chemistry of the Mesozoic lamprophyres in southern West Greenland have been discussed previously. This article aims to discuss the rare earth elements in these rocks. The rocks analyzed are nepheline, cassiterite and carbonatite-type lamprophytes. The authors (1980, 1981) have concluded that these rocks show two evolutionary trends of olivine-slate magmas derived from the same mantle-unsaturated nepheline-trending
