英汉两种语言文化存在着一定的差异。在英语教学中,教师在训练和提高学生语言水平的同时,应有意识地对学生传授一些相关的语言文化、风俗习惯和交际常识等方面的知识,注重培养学生用英语进行跨文化交际的能力。教师应注意英汉两种语言文化中常见的差异,对中国学生常犯的跨文化交际方面的错误进行教学指导,使学生掌握正确的表达方法,提高英语综合运用能力。
There are some differences between the two languages of English and Chinese. In English teaching, while training and improving students ’language proficiency, teachers should consciously teach students some relevant knowledge about language, culture, customs and common sense, and pay attention to cultivating students’ ability of intercultural communication in English. Teachers should pay attention to the common differences between English and Chinese cultures, and provide instructional guidance on the mistakes often made by Chinese students in intercultural communication so that students can master correct expressions and improve their ability to comprehensively use English.
