北京市科技工作会议于1998年2月24日召开。在会议上,北京市科学技术委员会主任邹祖烨作了题为《面向新世纪,把握新机遇,努力开创北京科技工作的新局面》的报告,分析了北京科技工作的形势并提出了今后的任务。邹祖烨指出,在党的基本理论、基本路线、基本方针和中央对北京工作一系列重要指示指引下,特别是在尉健行同志和贾庆林同志主持北京市的工作后,中央的精神得到了全面的贯彻执行,首都建设的战略思想有了重大调整,科技工作取得了重大进展,科学技术在经济发展中的战略
Beijing Science and Technology Working Conference was held on February 24, 1998.
