忠县县城东北4公里处为渝东地区先秦时期遗址最为集中地区之一,从县老城关沿江而下,江边由西南向东北依次有杜家院子、瓦渣地、哨棚嘴、半边街(崖脚)和罗家桥等遗址,是相互间有密切联系又各自独立的遗址群,被称为(洽甘)井沟遗址群。罗家桥遗址是(洽甘)井沟遗址群中的一个,为遗址群最东北的一处遗址。遗址位于(洽甘)井河人长江口东北岸的沿江台地上,地属忠县忠州郑公村管辖。南隔冲沟与周家院子遗址
4 kilometers northeast of Zhongxian County is one of the most concentrated areas in the pre-Qin period in the eastern part of Chongqing.
