广西地方玉作为最近兴起的特色经济产业,得到越来越多人的关注和追捧,各级地方政府也非常重视这一块产业的健康有序发展.作为石英质玉石,贺州玉、鸡血玉、南流江玉、金砂玉除了拥有石英岩和玉髓、玛瑙普遍有的物理、化学等宝石学特征外,又有其各自的特性,通过研究与分析,可以区分开.据初步分析研究,广西地方玉具有良好的开发前景.
