以扬麦5号为试验材料,对小麦生育后期根系的衰老生理进行了初步探讨.试验表明,小麦生育后期根系活性(TTC还原力)的变化呈“L”型的下降趋势,即从孕穗期至开花期,根系活性急剧下降;灌浆至成熟期,根系活性则处于低值水平的相对缓慢的下降趋势.在根系活性急剧下降阶段,根中蔗糖转化酶活性变化与TTC还原力下降趋势呈极显著正相关(r=0.9754),因而认为,根系活性急剧下降的原因可能与根中可利用的碳水化合物严重亏缺有关.在生育后期根系活性下降过程中,根中可溶性蛋白质含量和SOD活性的变化也与根系TTC还原力变化呈显著正相关.剪穗能使根系生理活性增强.GYB根叶宝对根系活性有较大的调节作用
