所谓“教师期望”,是指教师对儿童学习成就或行为的期望。教师期望可通过语言、目光、表情、姿态、动作等具体行为来实现,而这些行为也必然会折射出教师自身的儿童观、教育观、信念、动机及人格特征。教师的这些行为所表现出的倾向性,自然而然地会被儿童感受为严厉或宽容、拒绝或接纳、否定或赞许等态度倾向,从而影响儿童的自我评价、自我判断及自信心,影响到儿童的身心发展。
The so-called “teacher expectation” refers to the teacher’s expectations of children’s learning achievement or behavior. Teachers’ expectations can be achieved through specific behaviors such as language, eyes, expressions, gestures and movements. These behaviors also inevitably reflect the teacher’s own views on children, education, belief, motivation and personality. Teachers tend to show these acts, and will naturally be children feel harsh or forbearance, rejection or acceptance, negative or approbation and other attitudes, thus affecting children’s self-evaluation, self-judgment and self-confidence, affecting children’s Physical and mental development.
