After many years of development, die casting technology of metallic materials has been matured. In this paper,the lower-support and its injecting system were created with commercial software. And then the simulation softwareFLOW3D was applied to study the flow behavior of the melt during injection filling process. Both temperature field anddefect distribution were simulated. Based on these results, the better injecting system with two additional overflows wasadopted.
