Shielded room measurements (30 ~ 200MHz) 1 Introduction This paper describes how to selectively place a radiation absorbing material (RAM) that can greatly reduce the Q value of the electromagnetic resonance generated in a linerless shielded room. The result of the EMC test conducted in the shielded room is usually 20 dB or more different from the same test performed in the other room. These results are determined by the room resonance, antenna position and indoor EUT (device under test). These resonances have been studied in detail and the attenuation methods mentioned make the emission measurements made in the opening area within 5 dB of the 30 to 200 MHz frequency domain.
