根据铁路现代化重载高速运输的需要,本文提出应研制5150kW(7000马力)的新一代内燃机车.分析了已有的机车柴油机机型进一步发展的功率谱问题.文章以二级增压的16V280柴油机为基础而为所建议的机车提出了设计要点及构造特征.建议研制工作从八缸机开始.
