海口市人力资源开发局以科学发展观为指导,按照海口市委、市政府“保增长、保民生、保稳定”的重要部署,认真贯彻落实就业政策,提供优质服务,确保了全市就业局势的总体稳定。2006年至2008年,全市城镇新增就业岗位9.3万个;组织各类职业技能培训3.6万人次;开发公益性岗位安置就业困难人员2000人次;举办各类招聘会151场次,提供岗位10.5万个;农村富余劳动力转移就业3.8万人;全市城镇登记失业率低于4%控制线。
