遵照毛主席关于“中国人民有志气,有能力,一定要在不远的将来,赶上和超过世界先进水平”的教导,我厂广大革命职工自力更生,土法上馬,大搞綜合利用,經过数百次試驗,終于試制成功了合成刹車油。多年来,我国一直使用101型(蓖麻油+酒精)和303型(蓖麻油+丁醇)刹車油。制做这种剎車油不仅消耗大量的粮食作物,而且产品性能也远远不能适应当前汽車工业发展的需要。这两种刹車油在高溫情况下使用,易造成“气阻”,低溫則变稠,甚至凝固。因此,不能滿足我国南方高溫地区、北方严寒地区及高速行車的需要。

After hundreds of tests, and finally succeeded in the trial of synthetic brake fluid. Over the years, China has been using Type 101 (castor oil + alcohol) and 303 (castor oil + butanol) brake fluid. Making such brake oil not only consumes a large amount of food crops, but also the product performance is far from being able to meet the needs of the current development of the automobile industry. Both brake fluids are used at high temperatures, causing “air resistance”, thickening at low temperatures, and even solidification. Therefore, it can not meet the needs of high-temperature areas in southern China, northern cold areas and high-speed traffic.
