In the first eight months of this year, Shanghai ports imported up to 10,600 tons of frozen chicken products valued at 7.1 million U.S. dollars, up 2.4 times and 1.8 times over the same period of last year (same as the same as the same period of last year), surpassing that of the whole of last year; while exports of frozen chicken 1.63 Million t, worth 23.69 million US dollars, down 13.4% and 21%.
