中国历史上大禹治水的事,是多少年來實驗主義者聚訟不决的一个問題,若干人的目的,無非是推翻中国的古史,否認大禹的存在,我們講授中國歷史的上古部分,对於大禹的治水應作怎樣的講解呢?我覺得我們應當貫徹一個愛国主義教育,在於使青年学生認識祖国的伟大瞭解中國歷史發展的規律,這樣我們对數千年來中國人所樂意稱道’与積極颂揚的大禹治水,不但在當時中國社會發展上起了積極推進的作用,就是到現在我們对這個偉大的工程師,领导着當時的中國人民向洪水作鬥爭的古代聖人也是值得我們学習与佩服的。毛主席说:‘在中華民族的開化史上……有許多偉大的思想家、科学家、发明家……’大禹就
