1991年全省城乡共发生交通事故8573起,死亡1594人,伤4722人,直接经济损失11 239 829元。与上年比较:事故次数增加221起,上升2.6％;死亡增加115人,上升7.8％;伤人减少2人,下降0.04％;直接经济损失增加1 652 039元,上升17.2％。其中城区道路发生交通事故3 578起,死亡406人,受伤1 900人,直接经济损失4 471 125元。与上年相比:事故次数增加184起,上升5.4％;死亡增加8人,上升2％;伤人减少63人,下降3.2％;直接经济损失增加1 114 084元,上升33.2％。农村道路发生交通事故4 995起,死亡1 188人,受伤2 822人,直接经济损失6 768 704元。与上年比较:事故次数增加37起,上升0.8％;死亡增加
In 1991, a total of 8,573 traffic accidents occurred in urban and rural areas in the province, killing 1,594 people and wounding 4,722 people, with a direct economic loss of 11,239,829 yuan. Compared with the previous year, the number of accidents increased by 221, up by 2.6%; the death rate increased by 115 people, up by 7.8%; the wounding rate decreased by 2 persons, down by 0.04%; the direct economic loss increased by 16.2% to increase by 17.2%. Among them, 3 578 traffic accidents occurred in the urban roads, 406 were killed, 1,900 were injured and the direct economic loss was 4 471 125 yuan.
