This article describes the external stack is a system independent of the hardware, composed of additional hardware stack. It can be made into a stack card of common STD bus structure, in order to meet the need of industrial control machine. The following combination of examples, describes the basic principles. The external stack consists of a stack pointer counter SP ~ * and a dedicated stack memory RAM ~ * and some subsidiary circuits. SP_ * consists of three preset four binary plus and minus counters.
