朱寿桐先生的本业是中国现代文学研究。因为中国现代文学是在西方现代文学的触发和影响下诞生、发展、成熟的,朱先生的学术研究必然涉及中外文学的关系,也就是比较文学研究。回顾朱先生过去20多年的学术道路,不难发现朱先生之于比较文学经历了几重演进:由浅度涉猎到深度介入,由零星的“点”的触碰到有意识的“面”的系统建构,由相对纯粹的比较文学研究到更为宏阔的比较文化研究,由中外文学的比较到外国文学
Mr. Zhu Shouchong’s job is the study of Chinese modern literature. Because modern Chinese literature was born, developed and matured under the influence and influence of Western modern literature, his academic research necessarily involves the relationship between Chinese and foreign literature, that is, comparative literature.
