本文通过对中国大学生口笔语语料库和美国当代英语口语语料库的考察,对比分析了中国大学英语学习者与英语本族语学生在英语口语中使用短语动词的频率差异,同时也考察了不同水平英语学习者在这方面的异同,从中总结出运用频率最高的短语动词。研究结果表明,中国大学英语学习者在英语口语中总体上较少使用短语动词,但就某些短语动词而言,过多使用的情况也存在。
Based on the investigation of Chinese college students’ spoken and written corpus and the American contemporary English spoken corpus, this paper compares and analyzes the frequency differences between Chinese college English learners and English native speakers in the use of phrasal verbs in English spoken language, and also examines the different levels of English Learners in this area similarities and differences, which summarizes the use of the most frequent phrasal verbs. The results show that Chinese college EFL learners generally use less phrasal verbs in spoken English, but for some phrasal verbs, excessive usage also exists.
