知识分子既是物质文明建设的重要力量,又是社会主义精神文明建设的一支生力军,是培养、教育、造就各类人才,提高劳动者思想道德水平和科学文化水平的骨干力量。十四届六中全会通过的《决议》提出,在新形势下,加强精神文明建设的主要任务是加强思想道德建设和文化建设,这给广大知识分子更好地发挥作用创造了良机。知识分子为社会主义精神文明建设服务具有特殊优势,随着《决议》贯彻的深入,知识分子的独特优势将发挥得日益明显。
Intellectuals are both an important force in the construction of material civilization and a new force in the building of socialist spiritual civilization. They are the backbone forces that train, educate and cultivate various kinds of talents and enhance the ideological and ethical standards and the scientific and cultural level of the workers. The “Resolution” passed at the 6th Plenary Session of the 14th Central Committee put forward that under the new situation, the major task of strengthening the building of spiritual civilization is to strengthen ideological and moral construction and cultural construction, which has created a good opportunity for the vast numbers of intellectuals to play their role better. As intellectuals have special advantages in serving socialist spiritual civilization, with the deepening of the resolution, the unique advantages of intellectuals will become increasingly evident.
