从全面贯彻落实江泽民同志“七一”讲话和“三个代表”重要思想的战略高度出发,厦门市陶研会认真学习、研究和实践陶行知先生的教育思想和道德理念,充分认识到了加强公民道德建设的重要性、艰巨性、长期性和紧迫性,把“与时俱进,学陶研陶,促进公民道德建设”放在突出位置来抓,为促使依法治国与以德治国的紧密结合,推动学校和社会的素质教育做了一些工作。下面就上述问题的两个方面进行初步探讨,谈谈认识和体会。
