经１９８７～１９９６年１０年对河南开封花生蚜虫田间发生规律的观测研究，作者认为，蚜虫是河南花生生产上的主要害虫之一，每年都有不同程度的发生。研究结果表明，花生蚜虫的年度流行程度取决于花生苗期（５～６月份）的降雨量和相对湿度，初步肯定了三者之间的直线相关关系
