新中國的文教政策是民族的科學的大衆的文化教育,這是我們今後工作的方向,所以談新中國新科學必不能忽略這一個大前題。新科學必須從大衆着想,使更多的人民了解科學,了解生活缺乏了科學,即没有進步,同時使治科學的人更深切地認識科舉脫離了生活,即失去了科學的意義。大衆要與科學密切的連結起來!如何達成這個理想?我想簡單的說幾句。不對的地方,請大家指教。
The culture and education policy of New China is the scientific and popular culture and education of the nation. This is the direction of our future work. Therefore, the new science of New China must not ignore this major issue. The new science must be considered by the public, so that more people understand science and understand that life lacks science, that is, there is no progress. At the same time, people who treat science understand more deeply that the imperial examination is out of life, that is, it loses its scientific significance.
