社会科学理论的价值评价,始终是困扰社会科学界的一个重大理论问题和实践问题,特别是对于一些重大的社会科学成果评奖活动,包括国家的乃至世界的重大评奖活动,且不说奖金极为丰厚就必须公证,仅就诸多学者的理论成果,如何恰如其分地做出评价,不仅仅是理论工作者的事情,而且也是整个社会的重要任务,更重要的是涉及到社会科学理论的发展,甚至是关系到重大的社会实践问题。因此,社会科学理论的价值评价问题,历来受到学术界的高度重视。 关于科学的价值评价和判定问题,在西方属于科学哲学的研究范畴,尽管不排除社会科学,但主要解决的并非是社会科学的评价问题。而直接评价社会科学理论价值的判定方法还比较少见,即使有新的评价方法的,由于操作性较差,而存在一定的理论误区。因此,笔者提出白箱判定法,以求教于读者与同道。
