According to IHS iSuppli’s Industrial Electronics Market Tracker, Texas Instruments last year expanded its lead in the fast-growing industrial electronics semiconductor market. The company acquired National Semiconductor by the end of 2011, greatly increasing its market share. Texas Instruments was the leader in the industrial electronics market in 2010, further consolidating its position in 2011, with its industrial e-revenue rising to 24.2% from 1.8 billion U.S. dollars to 2.2 billion U.S. dollars.
