茶叶的贮藏经历了由简单到复杂,从单一到多样的历史进程。汉代,饮茶方式以煮饮为主,当时的茶类为团饼茶。既是饼茶,其存放必有相应的容器。浙江省湖州博物馆收藏的一件汉代青釉印纹四系罐(图一),其肩部刻划一“茶”字,是汉代的茶叶储存器。到了唐代,茶的饮用已十分普遍,饮茶方式也在汉代的基础上更加精致化。关于唐代贮茶容器,在《茶经·四之器》中载:“罗末以合贮之, Tea storage has experienced from simple to complex, from a single to diverse historical process.
