眼前这两张照片是艺术大师梅兰芳先生在长沙演出时的留影,照片是我在上世纪50年代拍摄的。熟悉我的朋友都知道我不是搞戏剧的,也不是新闻记者,而是一个搞考古的,为什么我能为艺术大师照相,其中有一段值得回忆的往事。那是1956年12月,梅先生偕夫人和公子葆玖率江苏省京剧团莅长演出。在此演出期间,省会文化界部分名流为先生设宴洗尘,地点在潮宗街着名妇产科专家黄坚先生的私宅。参加聚会的主人有原湖南省人民政府委员、省文物管理委员会副主任陈浴新、知名人士黄一欧(黄兴之子)、皮影艺术家兼画家翟翊、戏剧家田洪(田汉弟)夫妇、湘剧名家徐绍清、王福梅等等。我那时而立之年,在湖南省文物管
The two photos in front of me are the pictures taken by the master artist Mei Lanfang in Changsha in the 1950s. Familiar with my friends all know that I am not engaged in drama, nor a journalist, but an archeology, why I can take pictures of art masters, of which there is a memorable past.
