庞薰琹先生1958年开始撰写《装饰画讲义》,22年间呕心沥血,辛勤耕耘,数易其稿,其中经历了常人难于忍受的痛苦煎熬。完稿后易名为《中国历代装饰画研究》,至今恰为20周年。是书成文15万,立论新颖、论述精辟、体大思深。20年来评论赞誉者多,细研分析者少,因其体大思深,后人可从多种角度去研究。本文探讨其述吏方法,希冀从中透现出庞薰琹先生学术善绍传统、兼冶外说的思想方法,正以其与现代学术精神暗合而超越其时代,堪供当代艺术史研究者借鉴。
In 1958, Mr. Pang Xunlai began to write the Handbook of Decorative Paintings. He devoted himself to painstaking work in the past 22 years. He worked hard for a number of works, among which he experienced painful torment unbearable to ordinary people. After the completion of the draft renamed as “the study of Chinese ancient decorative painting”, just as the 20th anniversary. The book is written 150,000, a novel argument, brilliant discussion, body thinking deep. In the past 20 years, many commenters have been praised for their comments and few analysts have studied fine because of their deep thinking. Later generations can study from many angles. This paper explores the methods of the officials and hopes to reveal the traditional methods of academic excellence and the methods of thinking outside the metaphysics of the outsiders. It is based on its contemplation with the modern academic spirit and transcends its era, which can be borrowed by the contemporary art history researchers.
