1991年1月16日新疆维吾尔自治区卫生厅长热合甫·阿巴斯在省卫生厅就全国第三次结核病流行病学调查新疆流调点调查结果举行新闻发布会。出席会议的有自治区电视台、广播电台、新疆日报社、新疆科技报社、乌鲁木齐晚报社、自治区卫生宣教所等新闻单位。17日新疆人民广播电台广播了新闻发布会情况,新疆电视台播放了新闻发布会及新疆防痨工作回顾的电视录像,唤起了全疆社会人群对防痨工作的重视。新闻发布会的召开对全疆结防工作起到了极大的推动作用。
January 16, 1991 Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Health Minister Jehohar Abbas held a press conference in the provincial Department of Health on the results of the third national epidemiological survey of tuberculosis in Xinjiang Province.
