棱形车刀是我们学习苏联先进经验,并结合我厂冷加工的实际情况加以研究和改进而成。经过多次试验,已获成功。现已实际应用到生产中去,使用的效果良好,颇受车工同志们的欢迎使用(几何形状见图一)。现将这种车刀简单介绍如下:(1)棱形车刀的特点1.棱形车刀与普通高速切削的车刀不同,它的刀尖是磨成平头的(即修光刃)。在切削过程中,修光刃系与工件表面平行,这样可起修光的作用。因为它有修光刃,故可以增加进刀量,同时还能大大地增加刀尖的强度
