在我国南方稻作区,农业如何走高产优质高效路子,怎样克服资金短缺、人多地少、投入大而效益不高的矛盾?如何减轻自然灾害的威胁?重庆市大足县紧紧抓住冬水田大作文章,“稻鱼工程”为我国南方农业闯出了一条新路。重庆市大足县稻田资源丰富,水稻种植面积占耕地的70.6％。从1980年开始推广稻田养鱼,到1993年在全县9个区,建成稻鱼双千田(亩产千斤稻,成鱼效益上千元)10262亩,鱼凼(dàng水坑)2269个,充分显示了稻田鱼凼的增产效果。
