The concrete vacuum dewatering process was invented in 1935 by the Swedish American K.P. Billner. In the early 1940s, the process was mainly used in military and civil engineering. The equipment was also continuously improved and perfected by the inventors and their assistants. In the 1950s, the process was used in Europe and other places. In Sweden, the vacuum dewatering process equipment has been further developed. The equipment is lighter, more flexible, and easier to operate.
