时任西安美术学院油画系主任的潘晓东,是中国油画学会理事、中国著名油画家。三十年前,他总是喜欢下乡写生,他特别喜爱西部厚重的黄土高原,那 Pan Xiaodong, director of the Oil Painting Department of Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts, was a director of China Oil Painting Society and a famous oil painter in China. Thirty years ago, he always loved to sketch in the countryside. He especially loved the heavy Loess Plateau in the west.
