中国是漆器的母国,从新石器时代开始,中国人就认识了漆的性能并用以制器,到汉唐时代达到了繁盛,其技艺东传日本。在此后的岁月里,中国人渐渐摒弃了这种轻巧华丽且貌似缺乏变化的物件,转而将瓷器文明发扬光大,而与此同时,漆艺的种子却在东瀛之国落地生根,硕果满枝。百年后,西方人来到了东方,给中国命名为“China”(瓷器),给日本命名为“Japan”
China is the home country of lacquerware. From the Neolithic Age, Chinese people realized the properties of lacquer and used it as a device. By the time of the Han and Tang Dynasties, the Chinese people reached the prosperous level and their art spread to Japan. In subsequent years, the Chinese gradually abandoned this light and gorgeous and seemingly lack of change in the object to the flourishing porcelain civilization, while at the same time, the art of lacquer seed landed in the country of EGL, fruitful. A hundred years later, Westerners came to the East, named China “China” (porcelain), named Japan as “Japan”
