Vegetables can be stored in winter and fresh products can be stored in summer. According to the customary practice, the vegetable cellar is generally located in an outdoor courtyard. There are two shortcomings when it is used: First, it is inconvenient to get up and down the pits in the winter; secondly, it is usually repaired once in two or three years. Therefore, the old-style vegetable cellars should be rebuilt and updated as necessary to give full play to the role of traditional facilities in modern life.
