《喜耕田的故事》的成功之处在于具有强烈的时代气息、贴近农村实际生活,并在叙述视角、情节设置、人物塑造、方言运用等方面富于突出的艺术特色:叙述视角独特。它以普通农民喜耕田的视角来推进故事情节演进,并通过喜耕田的所见、所感来展示当今农村众多的人物和发生在他们身上的平凡小事。幽默风趣的轻喜剧风格,展示了喜耕田、二虎、青山、青梅等一批新时代农民的新形象、新风貌和新追求。地方特色鲜明,具有浓厚的山西生活气息。
