由于流行文化的影响,说到双鱼人们更容易想起那个指代出生于每年公历2月下旬至3月下旬,具有温柔谦和、感情细腻性格特征的星座名字。市售的星座书上写着,在希腊神话里,爱与美的神祇阿佛洛狄忒为了逃避大地女神盖亚之子、巨神提丰的攻击,带上了她的儿子厄洛斯一起逃走,变成鱼躲在河里。为了防止与儿子失散,她将两人的脚绑在一起,潜进河中化身为绑在一起的两条鱼。宙斯将这两条绑在一起的鱼提升到空中,成为了双鱼座。
