“诗是意象的表现。”诗是形象的艺术,诗人的主观情思要借助形象来表现。而诗的意象,就是蕴含了诗人情思的具体形象。没有意象,就不成其为诗。意象是意与象的融合,是生活的外在景象与诗人的内在情思的统一。是主观的心意和客观的物象在语言文字中的融汇
“Poetry is the expression of imagery.” Poetry is the art of the image, and the poet’s subjective thinking must be represented by the image. The image of poetry is a concrete image containing the poet’s affection. Without imagery, it is not a poem. Imagery is the integration of the image and the image. It is the unity of the external appearance of life and the inner feelings of the poet. It is the fusion of subjective mind and objective images in language and writing.
