“第21届亚洲国际艺术展”于2006年7月19日下午6时在新加坡的新加坡美术馆开幕,亚洲艺术家联盟各国委员会的主席和13个参展国的艺术家超过300名出席了开幕式。开幕式之前表演了富有新加坡民族风情的当地舞蹈,随着舞者别具风情的舞步,嘉宾们步入会场。亚洲艺术家联盟新加坡委员会主席 BeatYeok Kuan 和新加坡美术馆馆长 Kwok Kian Chow 在开幕式上作了发言。在各国主席共同演奏新加坡传统乐器的同时,新加坡信息、传播与艺术部长 Lee Boon Yang 敲响了“第21届亚洲国际艺术展”开幕的锣声。本次展览展出了来自中国、日本、韩国、新加坡、马来西亚、菲律宾、泰国、越南、印度尼西亚、蒙古,以及中国香港、澳门和台湾等13个国家和地区的包括绘画、雕塑、数字影像等170余件作品。展览同时在三个地点展出:新加坡美术馆展出了印度尼西亚、马来西亚、菲律宾、新加坡、泰国和越南等东南亚国家,以及中国香港和澳门地区的作品;南洋艺术学院展出了包括中国、日本、韩国、蒙古和中国台湾在内的东北亚国家和地区的作品。EPSITE 则展出了中国、中国香港、新加坡和
The 21st Asian International Art Exhibition was opened at the Singapore Art Museum in Singapore on July 19, 2006 at 6 pm. More than 300 artists from the Asian Artists’ Union National Committee and 13 participating countries attended the opening ceremony . Before the opening ceremony, a local dance full of Singapore ethnic customs was performed. As the dancers moved into the venue with unique style, the guests entered the venue. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Beat Yeok Kuan, Chairman of the Asian Artists Confederation Singapore Committee and Kwok Kian Chow, Director of the Singapore Art Museum, made a statement. At the same time that all the country’s presidents played traditional instruments in Singapore, Lee Boon Yang, Minister of Information, Communication and the Arts of Singapore, sounded the gong sound at the opening of the “21st Asian International Art Exhibition”.
