提升中国当代雕塑在国际上的地位,创作具有当代中国特质,表现国家民族特性的雕塑作品,需要我们重新认识与认真解读中国优秀的传统文化,充分利用中国传统文化资源进行当代雕塑创作,是当代雕塑创作的必然趋势,更是增强中国当代雕塑的文化影响力的必由之路,这需要创作者在传统与现实的中国文化资源中寻求艺术表达方式。但绝不是对传统文化资源的简单模仿,必须具备创新意识,结合时代特征,理解民族美学精神的精髓。
To enhance the status of Chinese contemporary sculpture in the world and to create sculptural works with contemporary Chinese characteristics and national characteristics, we need to re-understand and carefully interpret the excellent Chinese traditional culture and make full use of the traditional Chinese cultural resources for contemporary sculpture creation. The inevitable trend of sculpture creation is the only way to enhance the cultural influence of contemporary Chinese sculpture. It requires creators to seek artistic expression in the traditional and realistic Chinese cultural resources. However, it is by no means a simple imitation of traditional cultural resources. It must possess the consciousness of innovation, combine the characteristics of the times and understand the essence of national aesthetics.
