在无线移动网络中,位置管理是一个非常重要的课题,降低其费用成为近年来的一个研究热点。位置管理用于跟踪移动台,其由两部分组成:位置更新和寻呼。由于现行寻呼策略对移动台所处位置区中的所有小区进行同时寻呼,所以该策略造成了极大的网络资源浪费。本文通过对已发生的寻呼信息进行利用和学习,提出了一种基于学习的两阶段寻呼策略。仿真实验结果表明,本文提出的寻呼策略能极大地降低寻呼费用,特别是当移动台的呼叫移动比较小时尤为有效。
In wireless mobile networks, location management is a very important issue, reducing its cost has become a research hotspot in recent years. Location Management is used to track mobile stations and consists of two parts: location update and paging. Because the current paging strategy pages all the cells in the location area where the mobile station is located, this strategy causes a great waste of network resources. This paper proposes a learning-based two-phase paging strategy by exploiting and learning the paging information that has occurred. The simulation results show that the paging strategy proposed in this paper can greatly reduce the paging cost, especially when the mobile station’s call movement is relatively small.
