Based on the related content of English teaching and quality education, this essay brings forward the importance of promoting college English teaching reform and quality education, such as changing the current situation of English teaching, “high scores and low energy”, improving students’ comprehensive quality and ability of using English; College English teaching reform to improve students ’humanities accomplishment; to promote the reform of college English teaching and cultivate students’ broad vision and international outlook.
