一、以人为本,促进人的全面发展 印度哲学家奥修有一句名言:“当鞋合脚时,脚就被忘记了。”因此,在当前的教育改革中,“我们要创造的是适合儿童的教育,而不是要选择适合教育的儿童”。以人为核心,以促进人的全面发展为目的,应当成为教育的根本目标。马克思主义认为,社会的发展就是人的发展,整个人类社会的进步和发展,是由人类的自由、自觉本性的全面发展所决定的。教育的根本目的应该是使受教育者能够不断完善自我,调控自我,能够使他们在漫长的人生路途中找到“感觉”,幸福地度过一生,而这样一种幸福从本质上说取决于一个人健全的心态,健康的体魄,社会责任感和获取不断学习进取的动力和方法。
