1991年9月24日下午4时许,建瓯县川石乡徐布村虹元自然村发生一台个体制作香菇菌种用的卧式杀菌锅(体积0.5m~3,最高压力0.3MPa直接用火加热)爆炸,造成一人死亡,四人受伤的重大事故。这台杀菌锅是1987年古田县某厂未经批准擅自粗制滥造的。使用者未向劳动部门办理压力容器使甲登记申报手续。此类杀菌锅在福建全省,特别是闽北山区各县(市)数量很多,绝大多数是古田县的几个厂家或个体
