解放思想,实事求是,以实践作为检验真理的唯一标准,这是邓小平同志提出的建设有中国特色社会主义的理论的哲学基础。江泽民同志在十四大的政治报告中,科学地概括了建设有中国特色社会主义理论的主要内容,首先指出:“在社会主义发展道路上,强调走自己的路,不把书本当教条,不照搬外国模式,以马克思主义为指导,以实践作为检验真理的唯一标准,解放思想,实事求是,尊重群众的首创精神,建设有中国特色的社会主义。”
Emancipating the mind, seeking truth from facts, and using practice as the sole criterion for testing truth are the philosophical foundations of Deng Xiaoping's theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics. In the political report of the 14th National Congress, Comrade Jiang Zemin scientifically summed up the main contents of building a theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
