How the 18th National Congress took place? The 5th National Congress of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has seen an increase in the number of representatives and party members in the field of production and work. Among the elected representatives, 1578 were leading cadres of Party members, accounting for 69.5%, down 2.1 percentage points from the 17th CPC Congress; 692 were first-line party members in production and work, accounting for 30.5%, an increase of 2.1 percentage points over the 17th National Congress. The proportion of workers’ party members has increased substantially.
