千分尺经研磨好以后,要检验两测量面是否平行。小型千分尺可以使用平行平镜光波干涉带的多少来检验,或用其他办法;但大型千分尺在我厂修理以后无法检验,只有拿到计量室去用仪器来检验,不合格再拿回重修,这样很不方便。根据苏联计量法规规定,检验千分尺测量面的平行性要用平行性检验杆。由300公厘以上每隔25公厘分为一种,每种计有4根,每根长度相差0.125公厘,这样由300~1000公厘的千分尺计29种就需要116根的检验杆。检验杆的构造和用法如图1所示。1是检验杆、杆的两端
